Answer to solution

-a solution in y=-5x+10 means that an x and a y that make the eqution true. the solution is where the lines intercept.


-a system of equations is a set of equations w/ variables.

    So how many solutions can one equation like that have? One equation only makes one line, so you can't actually find any "intercept" until you have a SYSTEM.

    Therefore, a SYSTEM is more than one equation.
